Yohannis Tesfaye (1978)

Yohannis Tesfaye graduated from the from the Fine Arts School in  2001,  studied in Moscow, Russia  and worked as an artist for some time in  Cologne, Addis Abeba and Los Angeles. His present work is purely abstract, and is charactyerized by virtuoze drippings on npaper, wood or on sculptural (3-D stretched) canvasses, held in  shape by metal wire and often having holes. He exhibited in  Addis Abeba (AA University Fine art school, Alliance Française, Asni gallery, German school), in Galerie Wit in Wageningen,  and in the Addis Gallery in LA, California
