Teferi studeerde af aan de the Fine Arts School in 2001. Hij is vooral geïnteresseerd in  enkele van de vele culturele minderheden in het land, en ontleend daaraan veel van zijn materiaal. Deze tentoonstelling biedt twee schilderijen geïnspireerd door  het Hamer volk in zuidoost Ethiopië. Sinds 2000 heeft Teferi deelgenomen aan meer dan tien groepsexposities in Addis Ababa, onder meer in hert Nationaal Museum van Ethiopië en in het Addis Abeba Etnografische museum.  Zijn werk was ook te zien in een galerie in Spanje. In 2004 nam hij deel aan een workshop in Zuid Afrika.

Teferi graduated from the Fine Arts School in 2001. He is particularly interested in some of the many cultural minorities in Ethiopia, and draws a lot of visual stimulation form their life and land. This exhibition provides two paintings inspired by the Hamer people in the highlands of southwest Ethiopia. Since 2000 Teferi has participated in over ten group exhibitions in Addis Ababa, including one at the National Museum of Ethiopia and one at the Addis Ababa Ethnographic museum.  His work was also exhibited in a gallery in Spain.  In 2004 he attended workshop in South Africa.
